Plans and credit pricing¶
These plans are not purchasable yet
This page describes the plan structure we are moving to. Until it appears in Shopify's plan picker for your store, your existing plan and allowance are unchanged. Nothing here changes what you are charged today.
Every plan includes every feature. There is no version of Brilio AI Sales Assistant that answers worse, forgets faster, or hides your conversations behind an upgrade.
What a plan buys is a rate. The more conversations your assistant handles, the less each one costs you.
The plans¶
| Plan | Monthly | Messages included | Per message | You save |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 100 | — | — |
| Starter | $29 | 1,000 | $0.029 | — |
| Growth ⭐ | $79 | 3,500 | $0.023 | 22% |
| Scale | $199 | 10,000 | $0.020 | 31% |
| Volume | $449 | 25,000 | $0.018 | 38% |
Free is there so you can put the assistant on your own storefront and watch it answer your own catalogue before paying anything. It includes every feature; it just includes fewer answers. No card is required and it does not expire.
⭐ Growth suits most stores. A storefront doing a few hundred orders a month typically sees 2,000–4,000 assistant messages.
Included on every plan¶
- Answers from your live catalogue — stock, price, variants, product links
- Policy answers, once you've indexed your store policies
- Product cards in the chat, with add-to-cart for single-variant products
- Handover to a human, with the shopper's reply address captured
- Every conversation readable and searchable
- Your own assistant name, greeting, persona and opening questions
- All languages your customers write in
How messages are counted¶
One message is one answer the assistant sends. The shopper's own messages are free — you are charged when the assistant does work.
A typical conversation is three to five messages.
Your Dashboard shows how much of the current period you've used, and warns you before you run out rather than after.
If you use your whole allowance¶
There is no overage charge. Your plan's price is the most you can be billed in a month — we would rather you moved up a plan deliberately than found a larger invoice you did not choose.
If you run out before your plan renews, move up a plan from the Dashboard. The upgrade takes effect immediately and the assistant starts answering again the same day.
A daily fair-use ceiling¶
There is also a per-day limit, sized to your plan — three times the daily average your allowance works out to, so an unusually busy day has plenty of room:
| Plan | Answers per day |
|---|---|
| Free | 200 |
| Starter | 200 |
| Growth | 350 |
| Scale | 1,000 |
| Volume | 2,500 |
It exists because the assistant answers anyone who opens the chat on your storefront, and that means a single bad actor could otherwise spend a month's allowance in an afternoon. Reaching it is unusual: it is three times what your plan's monthly allowance averages out to per day. If you do, the assistant answers again after midnight UTC, and a shopper who hits it is told to try again tomorrow rather than being left guessing.
If you run out¶
The assistant stops answering and tells shoppers it's unavailable. It does not guess, and it does not answer badly to save face.
That is the real cost of running out: on a busy day, questions your shop would have answered go unanswered, and those shoppers leave. The Dashboard warns you while there's still time to act.
Free trial¶
Every new install gets 14 days and roughly 500 messages free. No card required to start, and the assistant is fully functional — not a crippled demo.
The trial is granted as a credit bundle rather than a message counter, so the exact number depends on how much work each answer takes: a quick "do you ship to Ireland?" costs less than a question that makes the assistant search your catalogue and look up an order.
Annual billing¶
Pay annually and get two months free (a 17% saving) on any plan.
Changing plans¶
Change plan at any time from the Dashboard — it opens Shopify's own plan picker, and your subscription is managed and billed by Shopify alongside the rest of your apps. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades at the end of your period.
Why we price this way¶
Two things we deliberately don't do:
We don't gate features. Charging a small store more per message than a large one is a volume discount, which is honest. Charging them for a worse assistant is not — a small store's customers deserve the same answers.
We don't bill you for going over. Your plan's price is your ceiling, and moving up a plan is a decision you make, not one an invoice makes for you.
